The employment issue is once again raised on social media. From Twitter to YouTube, youth are demanding employment to the Narendra Modi government at the Center. The hashtag '#modi_rojgar_do' has been trending on Twitter as well as YouTube since Sunday. The threat of 'Modi Rojgar Do' on Twitter is such that more than 20 lakh tweets were tweeted in a day. Not only the youth and students , but also teachers who give online coaching are participating in this campaign as well.
What is the whole matter?
Ministries hold an examination for appointments to various posts in the second and third category, namely the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination. Millions of people participate in it every year. The task of getting this done is on the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Two years ago i.e. in 2019, CGL Tier-2 examination was announced. The examination was conducted in three phases on 15, 16 and 18 November 2020, the results of which were released on 19 February. Since then, there has been a campaign against the government on social media.
Those opposing the exam results say that the November 18 paper was easy and the students scored quite well. Many had scored an aggregate of 200 imprints in the assessment. In any case, when the outcome came, there was no determination of numerous students who scored well. It is claimed by the understudies that 100 imprints have been cut from the cut off reported on 18 November.
At the same time, on November 15 and 16, many of those who had given the exam have increased from 70 to 80. Students do not understand under which process this was done. They are very angry about this.
The root cause of the dispute
The Tier 2 examination of CGL 2019 was held in three shifts in November 2020 and Tier 3 examination 3-4 days after that. Please tell here that till CGL 2018, it was arranged that after qualifying Tier 2 results, the students who qualified would get a chance to sit in Tier 3. But this time the examination of both of them was conducted on a gap of 3-4 days and it was laid down that the copy of Tier 3 of those who qualify the candidate Tier 2 will be checked.
Such a large discrepancy in normalization is surprising.
In ordinary language, it is called normalization, yet all things considered there isn't a lot of distinction in the expansion or decline of the digits. There has been no reaction from SSC on what model it has set for its standardization. In such a circumstance, students fear something incorrect has done. The students demand that the government should release at least Tier-2 marks so that the confusion about normalization can be overcome to a great extent.
A student named Vibhav, who is planning for SSC, says that SSC is consistently decreasing seats and doesn't eliminate the holding up rundown. Notwithstanding individuals who are regularly chosen in the test, a holding up rundown is likewise created. If a selected person does not join for any reason, then the seat is given to the candidate with a waiting list. This is not seen in the case of CGL, which is another big reason for students' displeasure. Due to this, various tweets were seen on Twitter on Saturday-Sunday with #modi_rojgar_do.
Teachers have taken the lead on YouTube.
While the students have participated in the campaign, the coaches preparing them for the exam have also taken the front against the government with #modi_rojgar_do. Abhinay Sharma, a teacher who has given online coaching for government jobs exams, has raised many questions on the central government and SSC by releasing YouTube videos on Saturday and Sunday. Apart from acting with more than 1.7 million followers on YouTube, many other teachers have expressed concerns about the selection process and the results. Coaches like Bhutesh Sir, Gagan Pratap, Jaideep Singh, Rakesh Yadav and Vaibhav Kumar say that Marks has not been released with the results of this time, as the commission wants to keep children in confusion.
Politics also continues.
#Modi_rojgar_do was the top trend on Twitter on Sunday. Seeing the reactions to this campaign, the leaders of the opposition parties also carried forward the hashtag. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi tweeted,
'Unemployed Day' was celebrated on PM's birthday, on
the issue of unemployment, students have been running social media campaigns in the past. In this connection, a big campaign was seen on 17 September last year. This day is the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The campaigners had chosen this day as a strategy and named it 'Unemployed Day'. It was the 70th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The youth trended it on Twitter as 'National Unemployment Day'. Then from the morning on PM Modi's birthday, hashtags like '# 17Sept17Hrs17Minutes', '#RashtriyaBerojgarDivas' and '#NationalUnemploymentDay' trended on Twitter. There were nearly 4.5 million tweets on '#NationalUnemploymentDay' alone. At the same time, about 25 lakh tweets were seen on #National_Berojagari_Divas. Now #modi_rojgar_do is reminiscent of this big campaign a year ago.
