The situation in kashmir after one year of the removal of article 370

What comes in everyone's mind as soon as we hear the name of Kashmir? terrorisum, attacks, martyr jawan or at most Dal Lake and Kashmiri apple. But apart from all this, there exists one more thing that has not gone unnoticed and is 'a common Indian Kashmiri people'. Their everyday life and challenges. After the removal of Section 370 last year, the hope of the lamp was burnt, but you have to know how much oil is there, because after the removal of Section 370, we hoped that the sun of peace, patriotism and nationalism would come out in the valley. Surely  the sun comes out, but its light remains a bit.

Kashmir: History

After independence, the dream of hoisting the tricolor from Kashmir to Kanyakumari was far away because at that time the country was divided into various princely states. Sardar Patel to join those princely states in India and Jinnah were giving all kinds of temptation to join Pakistan. Hyderabad, Junagadh and Kashmir wanted their separate independent country, Raja Hari Singh of Kashmir sent a 'standstill' agreement to both India and Pakistan for the purpose of Azad Kashmir, under which no changes should be made in the ongoing system till the future of Kashmir is determined. Surprisingly, this agreement was signed by Pakistan and the Government of India sent a call to the Kashmir government for negotiation. In the meantime, Pakistan suddenly attacked Kashmir, King Hari Singh of Kashmir from India. On asking for help, it was said that the Indian Army would go to Kashmir only when Kashmir became an integral part of India, after which the 'instrument of accession' was signed between India and Kashmir, and this is how the first war between india and pakistan was fought for kashmir . After the issue reached the United Nations, it was decided that Pakistan would immediately withdraw its army from there and India would keep minimum availability of its army and a referendum would be held there after the condition was normal. Article 370 born like this

What was artical 370?

When Article 370 was created, it was a means that under this article of keeping India connected with Kashmir, Kashmir had got a separate special status under which it could keep its separate constitution and separate flag, apart from this the powers of the Government of India were only limited to defense and communication , external affairs . Because of this, there was article 35A which defined the permanent citizens of Jammu and Kashmir, under this, no outsider can create property there, cannot get government job, cannot get scholarship.

5 AUGUST 2019

This  day was very important for Indian history as Jammu and Kashmir was divided into 2 Union Territories on this day, one was Jammu and Kashmir and the other was Ladakh; On this day, the special status of Kashmir was abolished, after which jammu and kashmir will not have  separate Constitution and separate flag.

The situation in kashmir afer one year of removal of article 370.

Article 370 was a very necessary and necessary step, but its purpose is seen not to be fulfilled because today Jammu and Kashmir is being called a big jail, the peace here seems as if the grave Our objective of dividing Jammu and Kashmir into two parts was not to reduce its status to Union Territory and to make the areas directly under the central government's rule. It was aimed at ending separatism and terrorism but one of them There are some major reasons why the target is not being achieved

1. Today, where the rest of India is thinking about 5G, 4G is also feeling slow, while 2G service is still available in Kashmir. how will the students study online, how will the students apply for the universities, has anyone thought that ? the Supreme Court is yet to hear the final hearing in matters related to the restoration of 4G services in Jammu and Kashmir.

2. The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries has estimated that since August 2019 alone there has been a loss of Rs 40,000 crore in production in Kashmir Valley and 497000 jobs have been lost. The number of tourists will be reduced from 611534 in 2017 to 316424 in 2018 and then to 43059 in 2019.

3. There is a loss of 15000 crores in Kashmir economy from August 2019 to December 2019.

4. According to the data available till July of South Asian Terrorism Portal, where there were 369 terrorist incidents in the valley in 2019 and the total deaths were 283, in the year 2020 only 229 terrorist incidents and 205 people have died.

All these figures raise a question in the mind that whether we use Kashmir only to bake our political bread, it is a sad failure
